Two weeks to the day after Téo Taxi’s closure, 170 vehicles are heading to Ontario on Tuesday for auction.
On site, employees involved in towing operations did not want to react to TVA News’s camera. According to these same people, the surrender value offered in Ontario is higher than in Quebec, which explains the decision to ship the vehicles to the neighboring province.

The cancellation by the Ford government of subsidies for electric cars would reduce the profit margin of resellers, we were told.
Remember that Téo Taxi has laid off 450 drivers and 90 employees of Taxelco. It is the accounting firm Richter, appointed by the court at the request of the National Bank, one of the main creditors of Taxelco, which oversees the restructuring. Buyers and buyers have until March 4 to submit their offers.
