Target of $ 5,000: a crowdfunding campaign to find Mélissa Blais

It’s been more than eight months since Mélissa Blais, the mother of two in Yamachiche, Mauricie, vanished after spending the evening in Louiseville bars. The Sûreté du Québec did not even find the car of the 34-year-old woman.

Her husband often spoke in the media to help advance the investigation. This time, it is the sister-in-law of the young mother who tries everything in her power to find Melissa.

“Our feeling of helplessness is growing more and more. We do not know what to think or what to do. We try a little anything. If it helps, “said Sylvie René.

Ms. René is trying a crowdfunding campaign on the Onedollargift platform in order to raise $ 5,000. She hopes that this amount will be able to untie languages and allow her to see what she likes.

“It’s impossible for her to be gone without anyone seeing or hearing anything,” she added.

This $ 5,000 will be used to enhance the $ 5,000 reward already offered by Sun Youth.

François Venne, the spouse of Mélissa Blais, his sister-in-law and the other family members of the missing person believe that she was the victim of a criminal act.

Mélissa Blais was last seen on November 2nd at Les Deux Dices bar located in Louiseville. Since then, no clue has emerged, not even a trace of his car, which reinforces the hypothesis of crime in the eyes of his family.
