QMJHL player suspended for ninth time

Mikaël Robidoux does not really learn from his mistakes, as the Shawinigan Cataractes forward was suspended indefinitely by the QMJHL on Wednesday.

Robidoux is a notorious recidivist. He has already been suspended on eight other occasions during his career in the junior ranks. His last sanction was 15 matches.

This time, he is reproached for being defeated from behind the defender of Rimouski’s Océanic Antoine Leblanc on Sunday.

This confrontation has degenerated, since star striker Alexis Lafrenière and head coach Serge Beausoleil have been expelled.

Robidoux has 11 points in 21 games this season.
