Murder of Ophélie Martin-Cyr: two corpses in the burnt car

The remains of two people were found in the burnt car in Trois-Rivières.

This new information brings to 3 the number of deaths in the case that began with the discovery of the lifeless body of 19-year-old Ophélie Martin-Cyr in a Yamachiche field on Wednesday. The scene was about thirty kilometers from where the vehicle was set on fire in Trois-Rivières.

Recall that the two main suspects for the murder of Ophélie Martin-Cyr, René Kègle and Francis Martel were arrested in the metropolitan area last night.

A second woman, 21, had managed to escape in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday and had contacted the police. She is out of danger.
