Kenora OPP bust alleged drug dealer
(KENORA, ON) Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime and Enforcement Bureau (OCEB), have charged two people with drug-related charges following an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking in the City of Kenora.
On Friday, October 6, 2017, at approximately 11:50 am, as a result of an ongoing investigation, police arrested a male and two females in the north end of the City of Kenora. Police located over 60 Hydromorphone pills, approximately 60 grams of Marihuana, a small amount of Methamphetamine, Canadian Currency and other items associated with the drug trafficking trade on the male. They also located a small amount of Marihuana on one of the women. The total street value of the drugs is estimated to be approximately $3200.00.
As a result of this investigation, 50-year old Brian HENDRICKSON of Kenora has been charged with;
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking-Other Drugs contrary to s. 5(2) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA).
- Possession of a Schedule II Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking-Under 3 kg s. 5(2) CDSA.
- Possession of a Schedule I substance-Methamphetamine s.4(1) CDSA.
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime s. 354(1)(a) Criminal Code.
32 year old Crystal MUNROE of Kenora has been charged with Possession of Marihuana s. 4(1) CDSA.
They are to appear in Kenora Court on November 9, 2017 to answer to the charges.
The second female was released unconditionally.
