Hearst schools locked down Tuesday afternoon Due To Outside Threat

HEARST | On Nov. 6, 2018 at approximately 1:50 p.m. the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a potential threat in the Town of Hearst, Ontario.

Shortly after, police recommended that all schools in the area commence a hold and secure procedure due to an ongoing situation outside of the school.

At approximately 3:41 p.m. the hold and secure was officially lifted.

The police investigation is ongoing at this time.

The locked down have been caused by a suspicious person in the schools area.
