Who is Wei Liu?

Wei Liu, a Chinese entrepreneur, claims to have published the white paper on January 11, 2008 under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto . During an interview in Beijing, the media were curious to discover the motivations of this character to make the claim.

Liu wanted to emphasize that copyright was technically meaningless in this context. Although he did not insist on being Satoshi Nakamoto, the Blockchain contractor said:

“I dropped it just so people would know that anyone can register a copyright. Everyone can be Satoshi Nakamoto. “

Two Satoshi Nakamoto?

Craig Wright, who filed his copyright registration on April 11, 2019, reacted to his competitor’s comments by saying:

“Now, we can both show our papers and see who ends up in an orange suit!  “

According to the initial press release regarding Wright’s intentions:

“In the future, Wright intends to transfer the copyright registrations to the Bitcoin Association so that the Bitcoin ecosystem can benefit. Bitcoin Association is a global industrial organization for Bitcoin companies. It supports BSV and has Bitcoin SV client software.

However, registration does not imply ownership or official patent of Bitcoin.

The copyright process allows anyone to claim to be the famous creator of the number 1 cryptocurrency. The mystery remains intact for the moment.

Some even think that the real Nakamoto died in 2013.
